Never said my car was fast, nor have I ever claimed it to be. The only thing I have said is that it's quick for having basically just a transmission swap and some plugs/wires for "mods" .

 

If you think your Escort is quick, you need to get out and drive other vehicles.......

 

I do drive other vehicles , bring out any 2300lb car with a stock 110hp motor and an auto, swap in a 5 speed and run me. I bet you lose.

 

Go to Bradenton and see what it will run in the 1/4-mile. My old 1994 Saturn SC2 automatic ran 16.1 @ 85mph. My current Lancer ES is NOTICEABLY slower than that.........

I have my fun on the bike. My 400lb bike makes more HP at the wheel than my ~2700lb car does at the crank......

 

I run a 10.3 in the 1/8th, I have slips to back it Not sure what I would do in the 1/4 as my factory stroked little 2 litre has no top end ass, but nice amounts of bottom end torque, so probably not much

 

I'd race a supercharged buick before I even thought about
throwing a rev at an escort, that'd be just asking for a rapeage

 

hell yea bring out the saturn. if an escort rolled up next to me and reved i probabbly would even think about running it. but i can do that since when i roll up next to something they say the same thing about my saturn. hehehe little do they know it is juiced

 

10.3 in the 1/8th wow thats like a 17-18 second qtr mile, that's not racing it's trying not to get rear ended by normal cars!!
