Im finally tweaking around with the bird again, tossing codes like a fudger since the swap, but i was just getting use to the tranny and rowing gears again. So i see these vette headlights rolling up on me pretty quick after a 3-4-5-6 pull and i just toss it in 5 so the sounds of sleeperness are present. the guy pulls up and rolls his window down and yells "you aint got nothing for an LS6" and i just chuckle and put it into 6th and watch his eyes ponder the sound of the squak of fury. we take the turn for the offramp and i have to slow down because i have no sway bar and he starts downshifting and slowing down too, so i figure since im doing 50 or so, ill toss it in 2nd and ride it down some...but once i put it in 2nd he guns and goes getting a good car on me. luckily we're going steeply downhill so i had a tad more traction but spun horribly, slammed third and spun some more, hooked at about 80 and was on his 1/4 panel, and barked 4th at his window and freight trained him and let off and came to a very dramatic standing of the brakes and downshifting to stop. i am quite happy with the performance now itll be a little bit before she hits the streets again, have some little things to put on, take off, and modify. sure felt great to feel torque again, nothing will make u appreciate a V8 like driving a measily 100hp 4 cyl.

Quite hoggin all the Vettes...damn. Good kill. I would love to go for a ride in that thing when she's hittin the streets again....if its ok with you. I can providemy own diaper if the in dash dispenser is emtpy.

its funny you mention ride alongs, i dont have a passenger seat...just the rear seats...but PLENTY of leg room.. i could probably make a tripod with the chair's mounting points too lol
