Default confrontation with fellow drifter.

So im minding my own business, just sitting around sipping on a cold beverage and my buddy pulls up. we get to talking and stuff and notice the sky getting dark and i blurt over "Better get that POS moving, we dont have any windshield wipers" and he just chuckles and replies "Well, ive got about 20 more hp then you, so ill beat you home" and i just smirked...i yelled "Lets go from a slow drift, but i want the move" and he agreed. so were drifting a good 2knots and i hammer it, and the 4stroke kinda just stammers building power while i hear his 2 stroke winding up and leaving me behind. finally the boat rolls into the power and im skimming across the water right in his wake, dip to the left and get through his wash and bite some clean water and go slowly making back my ground watching the tach sit at 5600. i start to slowly trim and the front begins to come up and i just start bookin on him. i musta put 3-4 channel markers on him by the time we got to the dock.

Good H20 kill. I think this is the first water kill. You had me guessing when you said "go from a slow drift" -Mark

Hahaha... just wait until he gets the NOS Cheater system installed, you'll have to one-up him with a centrifugal supercharger from somewhere...
