On my way home from work, I was lined up with one of these at a stoplight. Not sure if it was AWD or FWD. The lane merged left and I was in the right lane. So naturally I get on the gas from the light so I could get over. The Nissan took me out on the launch, without squealing the tires or anything, by about half a car length. To my demise it pulled hard and stayed about 2 1/2 -3 lengths ahead till 80 so I just scooted in behind the guy . Oh well he can go brag to his friends he beat an Escort in his SUV

 

i shit u not, those murano's are a very very quick SUV, my friends dad has one and when he drives it every now and then he will get on it, and for a heavy ass SUV, it impresses me.. did this happen by twistee treat on 98 north??

they are relatively quick, but nothing impressive, and they are certainly not a heavy suv. It has a very similar drivetrain to the 350z

 

Nice ride test drove one and ws thinking of buying forthe wife. Tranny is weird it does not actually shift?? Seems like one continous gear! Very nice riding SUV!
