Our race was from a dead stop 1/4 mile the Z06 was ahead going threw the finish line and pulling pretty bad. Jerry's car is insane no doubt, the Z06 just has alittle too much power 4 lil yellow.

Jerry was ahead through 3rd gear and shortshifting because he belived he was winning with James being almost 3 cars behind!

At the top of 3rd Jerry looked back an seen James car get squirly and start making up for lost time guessing the 2nd stage had come into play....by time Jerry could react James had passed him by a car and a half at which Jerry closed back up dragging 4th out and putting his front fender at James driverside door!

Sorry James no offense your a cool guy and all but I just dont want to stray from the truth! I was an eye witness to this race!

I feel that you guys should run again.Rumor has it that you have modded since leaving your car almost untouchable by any other daily driver...So unless Jerry gets on the ball any future conflict would simply be a waste of your time....

He was short shifting and not double clutching?!!? This sounds familiar. Seriously, the race is never won till it is over, it is his own fault, glad to see that he still manned up and payed. If he was so sure that he would win,then why did'nt he race for "double or nothing"? I am not on a side, just curious.

 

I know i'm nobody when comes to this.Jerrys been using pump gas,street tires,and has a larger turbo and certain goodies at his disposal.When i ask why he doesnt upgrade he states he might go to smaller turbo since he likes the response.He's a pump gas freak always looking to extract the most with little.Time will tell if he seriously wants to crank it up. Theres several other dsms being broken in and potential is very high so....

 

This is why i hate running on the street for money. I have had the same thing happen before. The win light at the end of the track doesnt lie and you know it's a 1/4 mile.

 

I don't think there was a question as to who made it to the end first, the same thing would have happened at the track. This is actually why I used to love street racing, you've got to be on your game. I had a race or two with people I knew were faster than me and I knew loved to sandbag, I'd run 3/4 throttle, or on the motor, when they'd lift, I'd get into it, now it's anybody's race. If you're going to sandbag, you better know what you're doing

 

Sorry, I have no idea who you are or what you think you saw but that whole story is a bunch of nonsense. I am taking nothing away from Jerry's Mirage, he was just overmatched. The only reason why he even got out on me at all was because I had zero traction and he hooks up and leaves hard everytime with that all wheel drive car.. The race is actually on Video and you can see my car almost hit the guard rail two times, Ask 01 Bird of Prey he was behind me. I offered Jerry a rematch anytime he wants and he has had nothing to say as of yet. And at the time of our race my car was trapping 135 mph( he was about 128mph) and I had much lower et's than him so how in the world would he have possibley been able to slow down and pull back up to me?? Let me hear Jerry come on here and say the same thing.

 

....so wheres the relavence of the post? ...run whatcha brung, jerry's car flies, maybe if he used race gas, he woulda won, maybe not...and i highly doubt there are any cars being broken in right now (with one or two exceptions i know of) that are in jerry's territory
