I went out tonight for the first time in a while. As soon as i pulled up to the spot i had several domestics want to run me. The roads were wet. They said they were dry. So i sat and listen to hondas get bashed and made fun of for about 10 minutes. So i say i have to make a lap before i run anyone to make sure it is dry. So one of the guys who wants to run askes if i mind if he goes for a ride. I figured why not. Well we pull on to the road and as soon as i give it any gas the tires go up in smoke(wet road). I was dissapointed because that was only low boost. Well after the short ride he got out to tell me that he doesnt want any. Now nobody all of sudden wants to race and it's quiet. Sorry to scare them away. Very dissapointed. the only thing nice was leaving with the last laugh. The guys in the end deciced to be nice to me since they didnt have a chance. I have heard many lines before but i heard a new one tonight when i first pulled up. "Your forearms must be strong from all that torque steer" Actually they are not because i got tired of my car switching lanes when i hit it so i bought a Diff. Cant wait for some dry weather so i can finally open it up.

i was just playing with ya ron...but i dont remember saying anything about your forearms...did mention the torque steer, but remembered u had put in a diff.

 

I do believe that there were a couple of cars there that would have run you if you didnt go home. Hell i ran a STI, i was sideways all the way to 4th. Bring it when it dries

 

Good to hear all these positive things Ron.... Glad its all workin out for ya... Sorry I couldnt make it out there, but I was having to deal with my car running like ass all night... Although, toward the end of the night it did start running better for some odd reason, and I got to have some fun on the semi-wet "track"... It feels good to spin into fourth gear on a road everyone else says is "dry"

Hope to see you out again next week so I can see that beast in action By the way, I think you should sell me those tires and buy bigger ones
