Well, my rides to and from work continue to be eventful.

This morning on my way home. I'm driving along, right around the speed limit when I see a white car darting in and out of traffic behind me. I notice it's an S2000 which I have never ran before. He gets up beside me and I notice that it's got aftermarket exhaust and he pops the throttle a couple of times. We get an opening and he takes off, I was about 2 seconds behind him and about 5-7 cars when he did it. I threw it in 3rd and reeled him in pretty handily. I put it to about the back of his bumper and let out, we were going plenty fast. He got back up next to me and I asked him what he had done, he said exhaust and a header. I asked him if he had ever ran it and he said it runs low 14's. He then asked what I ran and I said it's good for mid 12's. He looked at me in disbelief because I don't think he realized that I let off once I showed him I could reel him in. We went again from a slow roll, probably about 20 and I put a good 6-8 cars on him and let out. I think reality set in that time.

After that run I see a new Lightning in front of us. It looked to be an older couple so I didn't even try to mess with him. We wound up getting a light together, but I really didn't think he was going to do anything. Light turns green, I take off easy in 1st, he does the same so I just put it in 2nd got moving and put it in 3rd. As I put it in 3rd at about 40 mph I hear the Eaton start whining. I just left it in 3rd and strolled away pretty easily, about 3 cars to 70 and he let out so I did too.

Last run was on my way back into work 12 hours later. Again, I'm just driving around the speed limit trying to stay awake when I see headlights darting in and out of traffic behind me. I could not tell what the hell it was but I knew it was trying to catch up with me. It finally does and I can tell it's a blazer of some type. Well, he got up next to me and blew off at me, it was then I realized it was a Typhoon. He had some gauges and an open downpipe, not sure what else was done to it. From about a 45 mph roll I let him have the move and put about 6-8 cars on him to about 100 and let out. We kinda went slow because we were trying to catch a light, I figured it was the gentlemenly thing to do seeing as he has AWD. Finally we caught one and we talked for a second, very nice kid. Light goes green, I ease out in 1st and wait to hear him get on it. He does and I put a good 8 cars on him to about 70 and he let out.

Anyway, I know they're not exotics, but I've been having some fun on my way to work lately.

Oh yeah, I almost forgot about my ride in last night. I'm driving in the middle lane, again doing about 5 over the speed limit when two cars go flying around me. One was a Blue Accord coupe with a fart can and the other was an Audi. Not sure if it was an S4 or A4 but it had huge Audi emblems and script on the side of it, and it was white. We wound up all three catching a light together and the Accord is reving the shit out of his motor at me. I figured I'd just humiliate him real quick and get it over with. Light goes green, the Accord takes off, I put about 4 football fields on him through 2 gears. As we approach the next light he decides to get right up on my ass. Many of you know, I don't take kindly to that shit, so I put my flashers on.

The light turns green and I take off easy and he's staying on my bumper. I have nowhere to go because the car in front of me is going pretty slow, so I just roll my window down and look at him in the sideview mirror. He gets back further and gets over. We catch the next light together and he's next to me. Here's how the conversation went..

Me: "What is the fucking point of riding my ass?"
IceyHotStunta:"What, you don't like to have fun dawg?"
Me: "My idea of fun isn't my $30,000 car being rear ended by your $2,000 piece of shit"
IHS: "I have insurance dawg."
Me: "You're an idiot"

I just pulled up and rolled my window up after that. I just don't understand some kids. Jesus, I sound fucking old.
