damn...those things get out really hard but run out of breath on top big time...first time we eased out and he never got ahead ...didnt know what t was...friends told me...we went back and talked to the guy...cool as can be...so we descided to do it again...from 50 i just moved away from him steady at first then when i really started to pull he shut down...from the light he brought the revs way up...and got 4 cars on me easy ...by 100 for him prolly 105 for me i was coming up on him so fast it was like he'd gotten out of it but he wasnt...the 1/4 would have been done though with him eeking out the win...did this 2wice same thing both times....i have a pic...bone stock mint

 

the first red light ...we sitting there ..it's alittle damp so i know i have to really ease out...he brings the REVs way up ...i knew i was in for something...he starts inching up ...and bamn like a caterpolt(sp?) he's 4 cars out ...but by time i shift into 2nd i can see he's gaining no more ground and by 3rd here i come...funny to look over at him like he's trying to make the car go faster by rocking on the streering wheel as i go by i shut down ...he knew we talked about it later....the second run from a dig was identicle...from a roll it wasnt much of a race...nice truck though

 

it's turbo AWD.....what kind of race do you think it's going to be from a roll???

 

They don't run out of breath they have a rev limiter that kills fuel and spark at around 115.

 

he wasnt going 115 he was going about 100 i was going 105-110 maybe

 

If he had different tires or the common speedo problems they had I'm sure his could have said 115. Anyways good kill

 

From a dig is were they a at there best. Pickup trucks are no supposed to be fast up top. Good runs.

Limiter on a stock chip is 126mph....any yes, stock trucks do suck from a roll at 85mph and above....then again, when your racing a Type R (dont take it personally).

 

just pray you don't run into a modded one.
