NO ANTS DRIFTing in straight line
well i will begin my tale of wonder and amazement by a prelude to the titled kill. I was at a gas station filling up when a friend rolled up in his impy and was jammin that funk (simon and garfunkel - mrs. robinson) so we chatted for a bit then both agreed we hadnt had any runs in a long while. We mosey our way down a secluded part of the track and we go from about 35, where he slowly pulls away from me, and is about .50281 of a car out when a cherokee jumps out in front of me (the hand gesture and "HOW" was not the only words spoken). so we detour and get to about 45 this time, to keep me in my gears sweet wetty spot. I take the hit and he follows suit, we stay in it crossing the traps around 85mph with me about 1.52283 cars ahead. we part ways and i continue my voyage home, the bystanders were not as flurious today, which was greatly appreciated, and gave me open road to the next track a few miles away.
and now for the main event:
As i begin to approach the next track i see a bumper quite close to me in the rear view and i move to the other lane to let them pass, and as soon as it went from 2 lanes to 4 i jumped to the outside lane with him following suit. We both jockeyed for position as bystanders were squabbling for their chance to arrive at their humble abodes on time. Through more jockeying and him with a near miss on a volvo, i back off and found a track to play on. We mess around a little, me just staying on his bumper matching move for move till we get open track and then we do, somewhat apart due to bystanders i slowly begin to pull away from him rolling through the speedo and let out as traffic approaches. We tried to talk some, i kept askin if he was on here, which i firmly believe he is (red s13, twin slant mufflers, XAT across the back window, and no ants drift across the bumper). We couldnt really hear each other but he does motion for me to race this ferrari ahead of us, which i decline as i am not in the bird and had no chance. but once the road opens back up we just spiritedly drive through the onslaught of bystanders where one such bystander thought it to be prudent to put the S13 in its place, it was an LT1 auto rag top, i get cought in a crowd and dont try to force the issue any but do see them going at it by themselves, looking like an even race the whole time, but i do get my chance, and lay in to it to try to play catchup, which paid off as they slowed some and i got to play. I slowed down for a long winding turn as they both rolled through it pretty hard but once it straightened up again i got right back to them, then the LT1 must have seen me hunting and drops back for a little action, where not much happened but i ended up about 2 cars up when he let out, but that put me about 3 cars back of a WOT S13, i was slowly gaining ground on him, going gear to gear, coming into the top of third at around 135 we both caught a glimpse of a track official and pulled a -2G deceleration maneuver. I took my turnoff from the last track, where he proceeded on to his turnoff, we both gave a honk and a wave.

This is the internet. You're just supposed to talk up whatever you do know as if you're a salesman for it. i.e. I drive a Supra and a Corolla therefore 2JZ is the greatest and so is the 4A and I don't care about anything else because it's all crap since I don't have it. I also have a stack of $20 bills in front of me, therefore 20>50 and 20>100 and 20>1000. $20 bill FTW.
the vette is weak...i am just tryin to finish the bird and you all may play with it.
