Calling all big boys.
Aparantley some of the interested parties for this race do not want to run because of the three back to back runs. Is this true for all of you ?
If so, if I change the format a little are you going to run ? Throw out some ideas and I will take a hard look at them.
Also there seems to be some confusion about the cost. There is NO additional cost to run in this race or the bracket race and you can run in the open test and tune sessions too, just don't miss the call when it is time to run the King of TR race.
There has been a lot of intrest in the bracket races and I have a few payments on the way.
Let me here from you !

How close together will the runs be? Nitrous, cooling off. That is what I would be worried about.

Scott,
Other than the size of my car......I don't consider myself one of the "Big Boys" just yet.
I like your format for the shootout but carnage may be scaring allot of the Heavy Hitters off. Especially in this heat which will no doubt be worse at the end of June.
I pulled the following runs off in last months 5th Annual Vette, Viper, Impala Shootout at Bradenton. The last 2 runs were hot lapped and resulted in a blown header on the last run at the 1000' mark;
R/T .348 .309 .111 .371
60' 1.649 1.618 1.697 1.659
1/8 7.208 7.163 7.281 7.206
MPH 96.30 97.49 97.02 97.45
1/4 11.304 11.188 11.356 11.221
MPH 119.64 121.90 118.79 121.91
Found the back pressure problem, but I am sure hot lapping the car on nitrous was a contributing factor. And this was in low 70 degree weather.
a change in your new format may bring more people out for trophy/cash runs. Either way I'm not too sure if it will be worth it for many people to bring their high dollar combos for a track shootout at the end of June.
You are doing a hell of job regardless.
Thank You Scott!
