while this isn't a war story...I figured the only forum that I EVER posted up in was this one...so hybridss and mr2...if you feel the need to delete this...go ahead...but this is my last thread and it includes saying bye-bye to you guys as well

as some of you know I am leaving on the 24th for Parris Island for boot camp for the Marine Corps and will be back end of August but only for 10 days and then will be gone forever

the point in this thread is 1/2 call out 1/2 goodbye

I will be out this saturday as my last one, although I doubt I will race seeing as there are undercovers out there now (I'm friends with state troopers and they tell me all this fun stuff), incase some of you didn't know I believe there are currently 5 older 5.0 stangs (some of them I believe may be modded), a ford taurus, and 2 trucks (they might be lightnings but I think they are regular dodge rams), and inside all of them are UC's that are calling out races (and yes...I did overhear them being called out over the trooper's radio a couple saturday nights ago)...so...I'm kind of iffy about saturday night...but nevertheless I will be out there just hanging out if nothing else...so feel free to introduce yourself in person

I will be at BMP on thursday the 20th with some slicks , if you are one of those who only races at the track and has wanted to challenge me for awhile, feel free to show up as well

so far the people that I know for sure wanted to race before I left were TypeR (is he still alive??), 97blkz, and Limey...ok...just kidding about Limey

anyway...it was funny how this all started with copmagnet and all the initial months of hatred...lol...and now I feel like I am pretty cool with some of you guys...you really did convince me that my car was slow (which it was) and now it is up there with a good number of you, thanks for the harsh criticism and encouragement

it was nice knowing most of you and it has truly been a pleasure, definetely won't forget any of this past year and 1/2 in the presence of all the fine car enthusiasts here...drive safe...don't street race.... ...and it's been an honor knowing all of you...well...most of you...lol

good luck in boot camp. this doesnt have to mean the end of your TR life though. once you complete training it will kind of be like a normal job and you'll have time to post here. unless you're deployed.

Good luck Term , remember the isalnd is a short trip and the pain is temp! Bust your ass from day 1 , never wimper on the quarter deck or they will know thats how to get to you!
