Lee Rutter ran a 12.49 in his M3 just a few weeks ago. Mods were pullies and ECU, and he says the pullies are pretty worthless. His car is a 6 speed standard, not SMG.

Lee told me he runs street tires, I think SO-3's, with 40lbs in the rears. He does a 5000 rpm launch. :o

 

i have raced stock m3, all i have is the cai and i got him, not by much it all has to do with the driver thats about it!

 

yeah ive raced m3s too... i blow away my friends 350z and he has intake exhaust and some other crap.. i waste some m3s too but not all.. they are very different depending on driver and how its taken care of

 

so that 12.49 wasnt really a "stock" car.

the best my friend has gotten out of his green 02 M3 is 14.1 @99.

Although his is a vertible.

 

i trap about 106 the best i have run was a 13.7 @ 106

 

well go look up on some 350 z fourms, some people get stock z into 13.8 stock at over 103 mph, it all depends on the driver!
