oops, this is Cliff. I was with Cody when he raced Joel. From a roll Cody had a substantial lead on him. I would say atleast a car. Cody was pulling away until he missed 3rd, not only once, but twice. Joel only jumped out about a car and it pretty much stayed like that the rest of the time.
From the dig, Cody and I were talking and all of the sudden Joel took off. So Cody took off and by that time Joel was already out by a car, car and a half and it pretty much stayed like that until Cody let out. The reason why he didnt catch back up until the curve was because Cody let out and we were talking and he backed off to around the speed limit and got on the Nextel.
In my opinion Cody had Joel from a roll, but unfortunatly missed 3rd twice.
I dont know Joel so im not bash him, but, if Joel's car is as fast as he says, then do it again with cameras in both cars and then there can be no more arguments. Then you drop it and let it be...

Joel, i want to know what mods u have, and what shot u are spraying if u are spraying. A friend of mine has a 96 GT with a carbed 302 w/ported heads and exhaust and he beat a 03 Cobra from a roll and a dig. PM me if u want if u dont know want people knowing. My TR screen name is 1fastang.

we should all go to the track and do this. the win light doesnt lie. (wait its probably to hot.) also i didnt see the race but after we all got back to chickfila Joel and Cody both agreed that joel had him by a car and there was about 7-10 witnesses to that.

 

i dunno if joel would make it to the track, from what he was saying after the runs, it sounded like his clutch wouldnt last the ride home.
