z28 playin with the wrong ricer!
Anyways im coming back from WinDixie shoping for some food, and some ass hole riding my ass, noticing it was a z28 with some green neons. He pulls next to me, i down shifted to 3rd, taking the lead. Shit red light. I was like god damnit, i really caint afford another ticket, fuck it! Gave him a car head start and get on it. As soon as i hit 3rd i slowed down he was right next to my door. Looking at my Profec B i saw that i was on Lo. I was like dude you just messed with the wrong ricer! If anyone see's a white z28 with green neon's, tell him this ricer wants him at the track~!

Ok this is the second story ive seen with this "I was on low boost setting" scenario. I had a profec b back when my car was turbo and I never was caught with my boost on low. Hell i rode around with it on high. I see no reason why you would ride around on low. You can drive on high and drive the car normal and never get into boost unless you wanted to. That saves the excuses. Sorry just me ranting. If you dont know how to work the boost controller dont get one.

sounds fun..... i personally have one boost setting and thats all i need for now.... but either way, good.... whatever it was

But, I have to agree. I never got caught on low boost when I had my boos controller in the car. If I happened to be on low boost and I saw a possible run I would switch it. But, more often then not I would just leave it on high boost and modulate it with the throttle. I always figured I wouldn't set the boost on my daily driver higher then it could handle all day long, so why not drive it like that all the time.

They're refering to me and my LS1 kill. I switched to high boost for him.
I leave my car on low boost ~15psi because on 18psi, the car likes to go full boost with VERY little pressure on the gas. So I only stay on high boost when I know Im going to race someone.
Im still on stock turbo, so I get full boost below 2500.
Not to mention I have to change my fuel for high boost. Which is signifigantly more.
PS. Nice kill, DO you know if it was an LT1 or an LS1?
