I was coming home from a friends house tonight and was filling up at the racetrak, when i hear someone downshift and ride 1st into the gas station, but low and behold, i see a nice intercooler sitting in front of the neon...it was indeed a LicoRice skittle. i overheard him and his buddy talking about how bad they had just beat someone and they parked at the pump next to me, so i just had to ask for a run. as soon as i asked he came back with "You know its an SRT4 right?" i just nodded and let him get a full head, then to top it off he walked over to the car and saw it was an automatic (hence the title, as thats what he told his friend). So finally we both agreed to run, he said it was his g/f's and he didnt know what mods it had, but sounded like atleast exhaust to me. So i get done pumping, he's off in the corner taking a wizz, his buddy yells to him he overpumped and needed a quarter, and out of the kindness of my heart and pity for the beat down this guy was gunna get, i gave him the quarter. I cranked up the car and tried to keep the RPM's up so i wouldnt give myself away but once i put it in gear his jaw just kinda dropped, and i pulled away and let him follow me to GIS. We pull on and pace eachother till about mid bridge, and i keep motioning for him to go but he wouldnt, so i took the hit from about a 45-50 roll and got a quick 4-5 cars by 80, and pulled another 1 or 2 up to 115 as i was easing off to let him catch up. he got to my back bumper and i laid into it again, and it stayed about door to door to 130 went to 4th and began to pull away again, and just let out cause it was pointless to keep playing with him as he was probably topping out. he stayed in it allllllll the way over the bridge though, i got to the hump and he was flying around the turn before the light.

just the way they were actin kinda, that sort of "my shit dont stink" attitude. plus i havent ever really gotten to race one, and i thought it was modded some. as far as i was told 18psi, with exhaust and intake was putting them in the 105-108 trap area...

 

That must be their 3/4 mile trap speed. LOL

 

I met a guy at the track with a red one, he was pretty cool and some of those get sick, wait until someone puts like 5k into one...

we should race sometime...I know the outcome, but I'm sure it won't be as bad as that poor kid in the black one, you up for it?

 

Mine is an automatic. I prefer that n the drag strip.
