Vince...you need to run him when your car makes it back out. You could realistically match his HP #s with ease...and probably with a lot more TQ. Your problem will be traction

 

My problem will also be weight. However, I am game to race him. I just have one issue. I race for free.

 

Im sure you can arrange to race for free. Or...just pick him up by his ankles and shake all the money out of his pockets...and bet that money. If he wins...he can have his money back....

Hmmmm,

The more i think about it, and esp. with what i know now, i don't think that Supra is as un-beatable as people think.

Esp. from a low speed roll say 30 MPH, i think that it's quite possible he can be beaten.

I will definatly make a trip down to Miami shortly & see what transpires, unless of course they end up coming to Tampa 1st, then you never know what may happen.

LOL!!! If my drag radials would work I am game. However I have not upgraded my rear yet. If I hook I might have to tow my car home. I have no doubt I can match that Supras horsepower #'s and have more tq, but we all know BIG #'s mean nothing if you cant put it to the ground.

 

Of course he is beatable but money talks with him. Reading from the supra forums is that he will go where the money is at, even if in Tampa. People in Orlando want some but down in the heat of Miami is something stirring up against the red supra and a tt 68/69 camaro that is VERY fast. I think they are running next week for some sum of money to. He doesn't run for free! I would like to hear about the outcome of them two next week......
I saw the video of the supra and zr1 and that was ugly!

I found out a couple days ago why the owner of this Supra was at NMRA. It's because he was the driver for the Mustang below.



Some people were asking why he was there. I didn't know either but now I do.
