i dont see why all of you domestic guys are being such pricks. Type R is probably one of the nices guys on this board when it comes to not being a little bitch about racing. Give him some fucking credit. If you beat him he doesn't start saying "oh you caught me in the wrong gear......oh i missed a shift". Give him some credit for doing some serious modding to a car that is very rarely modified. There are 500,000 f-bodies running deep in the 13's but how many cl's are there doing the same? on top of that... how nice of a daily driver is it?

99TL, I'm just guessing that the whole "you caught me in the wrong gear" remark was in reference to my post... know the whole story before you open your yodel hole... when I ran chronic and was in the wrong gear, I didn't lose, I still pulled, but I didn't walk away. Had I shifted instead of just hitting it, I would've walked. Chronics car put up more of a fight than the majority of civics I was encountering at the time... that's why his car surprised me. He actually put up a fight for a minute. To top it off, he came on here and asked who it was, and posted the death. I gave props to him and his car, too.
24-7, nobody is upset about his family car being as fast as our V8 sports cars, because it's not. It's a mid 13 at best. He's been invited to BMP... it's up to him to show up now.

it doesn't seem to me that he is backing down from anyone. i just see a lot of bullshit in here and alot of shit-talking about his car. a mid 13 second pass in an all-motor cl type s is pretty fucking impressive. And steve generally doesn't drive all the way to bradenton because he lives up in New Port Richey....he is usually at sunshine I think.
