Black Mustang vs. Me :)
We were chillin' at Gandy tonight, just bullshitting before we go in for the night, and along comes a very shiny new mustang GT(possibly a cobra, the flat wing reminded me of one, but I couldnt see his badges), had a very nice exhaust and two younger guys in it. I jump in my car to catch up with him and see if he wants to play around.
Well I catch up to them with one car in front about 1/8 mile ahead of us. I left it in 4th and lowered the boost to 15 because of detonation issues tonight. I look over at him, and toss him a little burst of accelleration and he takes the bait. I hear his car rev higher, and so I floor it, unfortunatly it takes me a second to get boost ~55mph in 4th gear, so he faired well with me. We caught up to the car in front very quickly, and he let off to let me pass the car.
It was a pretty close race, I only put about a 1/4 car on him, he was at my rear 1/4 panel.
Once I get the detonation issues sorted out, I'll leave it at 17psi and call it a day.
At least until I upgrade that stock turbo.

What does your 280 look like? I tried to race the one that goes out to gandy with a nice front mount on it last time I was out but he declined. It looked pretty quick. he was being followed by his buddy in brown 280 that wasnt as quick.

Mine is the brown beater POS with a smaller evo front mount. You will note my car by it's chattery HKS SSQV.
We raced when I was on 10psi. He pulled me slightly, and has much better traction from a dig. Im now 15-17psi, and secondary injectors.
I was hoping that black mustang was here, and could tell me what he had done to hang with me so well.

that was an awesome night jeff, good times. jake kicked their asses and donuts were fun too (just not in a 240 ) did jake ever tell you he did beat the rx7?

good kill i guess. i want another challenge. but we gotta go from a dig. all motor civic vs boosted cars from a roll isnt a smart thing to do

hehe, well I raced a CRX beat its ass, and for geargrinders sake i tried real hard to win 
then across gandy raced a civic, another win, uhm then raced a RX-7 GXL beat it pretty good, and then a Sentra SE-R and lost damn, had a good launch on him though just more power, o well fun night...
