Some of you have seen how I have posted that I havn't ever seen a fast honda in my area before, but that has changed

I was on a late night run to taco bell when as I was pulling onto park blvd headed toward the beaches when a white ITR strolls by. Very clean looking, white on white wheels.

Ahead of me he stops at the light at 113th and park. So I figure what the hell, I got nothing better to do. So I take off semi-fast hoping he will want to play, he takes off somewhat slowly then all of the sudden he guns it unexpectedly while I was second gear at 3000-3500rpms. At first I thought I was going to walk away ... but he had to spool first! :o That's right, it was a white turbo ITR with a very tasteful mugen sticker on the side. He passes me at about 75 and is about a car ahead at 85, but not that bad for the hit he got, but never the less, he was definately faster from a roll.

So finally, with all of the quick hondas around here, I finally found one.

White ITR - 1
Slow 5.0 - 0

 

Nice death! Did it teach you anything... like never under estimate your opposition?

 

Yes thats Scott(mugenR). His is fast and one of the cleanest i've seen. You should see under the hood.

 

Underestimate?

I never do that taking into consideration how slow my car is compared to many cars out there.

Now that I think about it a friend of mine told me about a ITR out and about in seminole that was turbo'd in or near his neighborhood I can't remember. I guess i found him

EDIT: btw, I would have loved to chat, but it was fuggin freezing. So I just had my brother throw him a thumbs up and I made a U'y.

He probably waited in first gear so he didn't melt his tires, lol.
I had another chance next to him for a while side by side around 50, but didn't want to waste his/my time with that one

 

yep, that was me. Good run, I would have thrown the thumbs up but like you said it was frickin cold out. You cought me by surprise at that light, I didnt even know you were there and by the time I realized you wanted to play I was a car back so I rolled into 2cnd and lit up the tires. When I hit 3rd is when I came by you. I didnt want to run hard around that corner so I let off. I thought you were just throwing the thumbs up when you were riding beside me, I didnt know you wanted to go again...sorry bout that.
anyway good run, nice car. I used to have a 87 Lx 5.0.

Ya, if I had a little more for ya I would have tried to get ya to go again, but like I said, would have just been wasting our time
Besides that, I had hot Taco Bell in the car rapidly getting cold.

You shouldn't run on park blvd!!! You saw what happened to me .....fun times in the pearl white 240.
