Well it wasn't me!
Just wondering did the badge say Golf? was it a 4 door? If so you met up with a 2.0. Was it a MK3 MK4? Just trying to figure out who this was. KR knows most of the moded dubs around.

it was white, definately a chewbacca VR6 that was de badged. If it was a 2.0 it definately would not have kept up with me at all...

That is a link so you can familarize yourself with my integra, it was built by Vapor on this board. The bottom dynochart was befroe the exhaust and 270cc injectors, so it makes a slight bit more than that, but a stock type R is making a bit less power than I.
My car is a 4 door, and basically is perfectly quiet unless i'm on it, the RS*R exhaust is quite the sleeper piece.
I didnt buy the car to try to beat everyone, I got it for my fiancee as a daily driver and as a roadtrip car for us, I'm just glad to get a few races in to show that It was worth me buying this particular integra from Vapor.
So far it is as stands.
Kills : Accord V6, RX-8 6spd, and the VR6
Losses: 03 CL-type S 6speed with my front bumper at his rear bumper starting at 50 (2nd gear 6000rpm for me) all the way to 4th gear around 110mph.. so pretty close i guess, i can say i "kept up"

I bought my acura with the intention that it'd last another 5-6 years and 150+ K miles... Ferry my fiancee to and from school, as well as take us on our roadtrip vacations.
My budget was 5500 dollars and for what I paid for this car I think I got the best I could for the money.
Now If I had owned a stock car would these mods have been worth it in the grand scheme? Probabally not, but when Vapor built the car, he had gotten it for 2500 bucks, but it had a blown (hydrolocked) motor, so its only natural to replace with ITR pistons since they are the same as GSR in cost. The AEM intake was used, the RS*R exhaust wasn't necessary but he didnt want to be limited on the high end where the JDM DC sports 4-1 (still kinda cheap since the donor car had a 4-2-1 on it that was sold I think) was helping. Injectors were to richen it out along with the FPR and fpr guage (safety).. SO really everything was kinda needed for this car anyway, and it turned out to be a great daily driver 4 door that ran a 14.6....
Personally I like it because my dad back in 1997 got his GSR coupe, and I drove it for 6 months between having my red Z31 turbo and my Black T78 blown Z31.... I grew fond of it, and now I get to relive those exciting 2-3 shifts (GS-R's can really bang a hell of a 2-3 shift, and it sounds awesome) that in this race got me about 2 feet each shift 2-3 and 3-4.
So maybe in fort myers sometime we can meet up. I'm sure you'll win (we dont have to race) but I just wanna see a VR6 turbo, havent really come across any FI besides superchargers on them. Curious to see!

i dunno..... I'll run the cape coral guy again sometime on a more private road. Normally I really dont street race often at all, and I was resisting forever but I finally gave in. If we raced again It'd be on a more desolate road like tuckers grade or something....... I got no problem racing again over christmas break, win or lose I dont care, its all for fun....

You were close on the mods that you guessed he had, that car has an intake, and a test pipe that eliminated the cat. The way you described how he antagonized you, I figured it was who I thought it was. He says he would like a re-run. Go on www.kein-reis.com if you wanna ever set-up for when you will be back down this way.
not to highjack the thread, but before i moved to tampa(im from ft myers too) i met this kid, i forget his name, but he had a blue corrado with a ton of motor work done and it was pretty fast from what i remember. any of you guys know him?
