Wow this thread grew! Lets just take the top five 4 cylinders vs the top five v8's , all street driven cars ! And we'll see what results we get? We know there are fast 4 cylinders and this is not a newsflash I can remember reading about them 10 years ago the question is how many are reliable for daily use and 10 second passes! I think of it like a guy who weighs 120 to start trying to out muscle a guy who weighs 220lbs , if they boith work out the same amount the 220lb guy would be able to lift more due to his natural strength, there are just limitations to certian things, I'm rambling just my .02c!!

I saw you at sunshine and didnt see any 7 sec passes. My 4 cylinder runs 7's on slicks of course. Which is what i use at the track.

Bring it to TR track day my truck has run a best of 12.59@108 so if you think you can beat me. Bring it! If you win i'll be back with more if I win you don't have a whole lot of room to work with.

Oh, OK, my bad. So then, that's why we see, ahem...sorry, will see 10 second Civics under every rock. So, Al won't have to go to PR to get his beatdown and Dan won't have to go to Miami. This will actually be nice when every Civic owner can tout his own car instead of some mysterious race car in BFE that runs 10's. Now they'll have their own live to live. So, how long will the trickle down effect take until everybody has a fast Civic? This will take a lot of heat off of poor old Slim Shady too.
