Sunshine deaths :)
Gutted and turbo'd nissan sentra ran an 8.7@90mph :o to my 9.35 @79.
Big ole monte carlo runs an 8.6 to my 9.25 @77.
Another monte with head/cam/intake runs 8.7 to my 8.9 at 78mph.
I kept losing, but I'm still thrilled with my last pass as I spun when I powershifted second gear and with a good 1.905 60ft and I know I can do 1.8s.
Not too bad for a fox body with 3.73s, exhaust, and some 8" dot slicks.
btw, I had more fun doing my power brakes at the beginning of the pass because in the 2+ years I've had the car (since I was early 17) I had never powerbraked my car before :o 2nd gear burnouts=fun

I got a lot of races on video from last night. I was kinda disappointed in the track it was kinda getto and I though my hometown track was getto but the pits suck. I don't think all those cars were doing what they should last night, 1/4 mile is a lot better I must say. Anyway, the guy with the buick roadmaster had some nice runs too. I'll let him speak up on his times if he wants. I saw you run also I think It didn't look too bad. I really like foxs, a nice clean look.

EDIT: Yes it was actually. My brother told me it was a faded but dark bluish with pillar guages and a t28.
I was getting great traction out there, but that's not saying much for a car making around 200hp at the wheels. I dumped at 4,000rpm's and got a chirp and I was gone

Ya, me and you in the 1/8th would be a good one, as long as we don't have to go from a roll,
I'm actually coming close to getting a little air under the front tires on the launch. Without the swaybar in front it really lifts. Try a side step from 5,000 and see where I am.
It will probably be a while till the next time I go out there, as I am completely satisfied with that pass
If I get any more mods I'll definately head back out there and see if I can go lower. I'll be out there in probably 2 weeks with a friend who has a pretty serious t/a
