i beg to differ with you deacon.... with all due respect i dont believe your car weights or horsepower numbers are correct i know the usdm h22a4 has 200 claimed hp and 151 lb ft torque and the b18b1 puts about 145 hp and 130 lb ft torque so yeah ur right theres a significant power difference but theres an even bigger weight difference... the newer preludes weigh almost 3k plus the weight of the driver and the 90 civic 4 door is around 2k plus the weight of the driver so if u factor all this together and look at power to weight ratios then the civic although less powerful is much lighter and woul have the upper hand... but then u gotta look at the driver skills.... and i personally have never seen a ricer that can drive so that might be the determining factor... this may have just beenan incident where there are 2 nearly equal cars where one had a driver and the other simply had an operator.....
