me and my buddy were im my car heading down i275 last night when i see a bluish mid 90's vette hauling ass all around traffic behind me he eventually gets next to me and its kind of an older guy. the vette was a a bluish color with a chevy emblem on the back window(represent ), and something written in white on the hood(i couldnt tell what it said) and some sort of stainless exhaust. anwyays whlie driving down 275 we kind got caught in a little traffic. when it freed up the guy just did a fly by on me and kept hauling ass. i was attempting to catch up to him but i didnt want to unnecessarily romp on my car just to catch up to him and go from a 120mph roll. eventuially we get off at the bearss exit and turn left onto nebraska. we were stuck behind a couple cars but eventually got past them and hit a light together. light turns green and we both hit it. he got out about a half a car on me thru first where i shifted early at 6k to try to avoid spinning(didnt work). went into 2nd, spinning, hopping, sliding, whatever u wanna call it. i had to let off a couple times to gain traction which finally happened around 65mph. at this point hes got well over a car on me. going to 3rd and start reeling him on, i got right next to him at like 7000 in 3rd(85mph) and let off so he could get a little jump again, then proceded to get back into and go right by him in 3rd and pull away bad in 4th. i dont usually fuck with people like that but the guy was starting to annoy me the way he was driving. guess i just had to show him whats up. another lt1 bites the dust

Are you sure he was racing or just late for an appointment and irritated by the droning of a swarm of bees.

 

Funny how I've never seen a fast civic.

 

it's possible if the civic is stout or the vette is old,weak and un maintained ! I raced some older vettes(not you richard) and whooped em bad! whats does this civic run ?????

 

richard, i'll post a pic of one when i get off work. 1,420 HP to the wheels, converted to RWD. driven by a 6cyl NSX engine. fastest civic in the world, driven by stephen pepidakkas.

BTW, if you were at drag warz III at BMP this sunday, you would have seen a few fast civics. i believe a couple were running sub 10 second runs.

 

Oh do they prowl the streets? With cold A/C and full interior? Able to go straight from the track to the interstate, and drive to NC and back?

I could post pictures of the professor, WJ's Grand-Am too but that would be silly wouldn't it? After all it only runs high 6's N/A. Not too streetable though.

 

Yeah that has SO much in common with your average Civic.

 

Let me know when he wants to be at the track. Someone better pack a lunch, I'll still be hungry afterwards.
