I've lined up with a couple on some local race tracks and I've only got 1 run in against an auto, pulled it pretty good.

A lot of people don't like racing 5.0's because if you beat one people say, "big deal, they're slow" ... but if you lose people will be like "how? they are so slow"

I'm saying stock 350z autos are pretty slow for what you paid, but you also get a whole lot more than straight line performance.

 

None here either. I did run into a white one that was flying through westchase one night. I pulled into a gas station, where he stated my car couldnt handle, and that it was too heavy.

I offered him a T n'T run, But he declined...

 

umm...since then... only one i raced was from a dig and he was spraying a heftly load aswell(125)...i also have plenty of witnesses gee that was a fun night...

 

Still won't be scared with my lid/muffler/Nitto combo... They're going to take their $32K+ car and dump another $7K+ into it, and still get spanked.

 

Where is the track event - that would be my first, I'm sure I'd make an ass out of my self - I have a lot to learn.

Do you have the STI? If you do you would def. give me a run for my money - you would take me from a stop, not sure about a roll. I'm impressed with the STI - the reg, WRX isn't much of a battle - I let one get a head start on me last week and I pulled on him extreamy fast - it wasn't a challenge. It might have been the driver.

 

its stock. hell...if you dont believe me, just ask him where reverse is, SOA made a few select cheapo models without reverse...
