i jumped my starter tonight to drive my crx around to get some gas through it b/c it has been sitting for a little while b/c of some technical difficulties. well the technical difficulties have caused my car to redline at 7 grand and not hit vtec (its a b16a). well i was driving and a ricey ass celica pulls up, it has a gt-s symbol and the gt-s rims on it but the exhaust was a gt. so he pulls up next to me reving thinkin he's badass, i'm sitting there debating b/c i know my car is doggin w/ out vtec, but i figure what the hell. i beat him by 3, 3 1/2 cars even with out vtec. got to the next light and he did the usual roll up the windows and take a right hand turn to avoid embarassment. i could just imagine how bad he would have been own3d if my car was actually working like it should.

 

if he pulled up next to you....and you beat him...how did you know what exhaust he had? hmmmmmm....

b/c he pasted me than slowed down, pasted me than slowed down, pasted me than slowed doing trying to do a rolling start race, than slowed down to see if a guy a lil ways back would roll start race him and i got to the light first. and he pulled up about 10 seconds later.

 

how can you tell the exhaust between a GT and a GTS ?.. for all i know the muffler looks the same on both ?

 

nop, the gt-s exhaust is very different from the gt. i know b/c my step mom owns one. i'll post up pictures later when i get home.

holy shit .. you beat him without vtec, man if you woulda had that maaaad vtec kick in you coulda beat him by 9, 9 1/2 car lengths. w00t vtec 0wnz j00. good kill on the riced out celica.

 

most likely was a auto gts. Probably would of been closer with the manuel.

Assuming it's stock - The GT-S has the muffler near the bumper, where the tip is. The GT muffler is further back under the car.

 

Celica and rice are redundant... a celica is nothing more than factory rice. Good bitch slap.
