Viper GTS vs Cobra

Viper GTS vs Cobra
So, here I am cruising around minding my own business when I hear and see a very loud car about to pass me... First thing I notice is the driver is checking out my car big time, then I begin to check out his car and notice its a newer Viper GTS. Not this years jaguar like body style, but the previous year (2002). He passes me, and the car is ungodly loud, presume its after market exhaust.
Since he was checking out the Cobra, I thought I may be able to get a run in with him. We catch a red light, he gets an open lane, and I unfortunatly get stuck behind a car in the other lane.. Light goes green, he guns it, I get in his lane and pass the slower car to get next to him. At this point he is in a lower gear and now is rocking his car back and fourth provoking me.. I am thinking this is wow cool, some viper is picking on me
I drop it down a gear and my car gets louder, so he assumes I just gunned it.. Seeing him get the jump at this point, I hammer it. He has a 3/4 car lead at this point, and by the top of second we are even. Shift to 3rd and I start to pull up some, by the top of 3rd our front bumpers are even and I am still pulling. Unfortunatly, traffic in my lane forced me to jam on the brakes and abort.
All I gotta say is that was fun! Too bad I got caught in traffic
I know he had to hear the eaton echoing off his head since his drivers window was down 
We exchanged thumbs up and went about our merry ways.
