well first things first, i only have about 400 miles on my ls motor which means im still in the break in period and i really should not be hitting 7 grand. i was swapping my mounts and my buddy pulls up in his 98 hatch w/ 2000 b16 swap. he is sporting the usual clutch, intake header and exaust and fuel upgrades. then he starts bragging about his new nitrous set up(50 shot) i was not impressed. he keeps complaining that there is no comp. for him. i laughed and he replied with "like you can beat me?" so me being who i am i never turn down a race. i finished my mount swap and headed out to a road near my house where there is almost nothing. on the way out he was in front of me and punched it. i reacted to it and was no more than 6 feet from his bumper. by the end of my 3rd gear i had let off cause i was getting to close to him. i was happy as can be. here i am with a ls motor keeping up with a b16 and a baby bottle. next we go from a dead stop. i said we go on 3 and like most assholes he went on 2. so he got the jump but i showed him what ls torque was like. needless to say i had him up until half of 3rd when he started pulling very very slowly with the use of baby formula in a bottle. i was really happy with the responce of this encounter. although i was defeated i at least know if it was motor to motor he would be owned. so i accept a defeat with a smile. that is all.

 

gave him a reality check at least. I'm sure at least 35% of the people on this site could beat him, if he thinks he is that awesome tell him to goto track day this saturday, plenty of competition for him there ...

 

i wasnt that confident at first only because of the juice. but i knew from the begining he could not beat me motor to motor

13's? you give them too much credit. a 50 shot wont turn a 16 sec car into a 13 second car...

hell if it did, i could have a 10 second camaro....

id say low 15's high 14s with a shot.
