Default im looking into buying a 95 gti help ??

car is a 95 gti black, it has 95k miles on it. i am use to honda but have gotten tired of them and love the sound and styling of the gti. what are things to look for that commenly go bad on gti. any help would be greatly appreciated. also what are some good VW websites.

only thing that i ever had problems with my 95 GTi was the thermostat... and other than that... ran like a champ .... stompin those TA's

VR6's typically have problems with coil packs, thermostat housing leaking, and window regulators. The timing chain tensioner also needs to be replaced somewhere around 100k.
