Default vbrad's 2012 GTI Thread

Thought i had made a thread but i guess i didnt...so just in case anyone sees me around you will know who i am
anyway i traded in my b7 a4:

picked up a 2012 carbon steel gray GTI 6 M/T
base model so no HID's, sunroof, fancy radio, leather seats, etc...
dont really care for much of that stuff anyway and besides i think the plaid seats are bad ass

so here was when i first got it home on october 3rd:

it didnt take long for me to buy some stuffs for it
first thing i picked up was a magnaflow catback:

(tips still need to be adjusted a bit)

then came a set of 18x8et44 BBS CO's
(not to be confused with CH's)

i dont really like to put aftermarket wheels on before suspension but in this case i did
they are almost exactly OEM size and i HATE the huffs or denvers or whatever the hell they call them now
so i had them put on today:

so thats it so far...i have had the car just over 2 months and love it
future plans are just suspension related and will hopefully be done in the next month or so
and maybe a tune but we'll see since its a lease...that would just be $600 i would not be getting back lol

You could possibly get the money back for the tune. Assuming you can trade ECU's like older generations. Either way, the tiguan looks nice.

Nice car. I hated how small GTI's are, but the nice thing is that it's just a lease.
