Hello all,

I want an 03-04 Jetta TDi. I have tried Craigslist and Autotrader, and there are pretty few. Any better sources out there? What about for ones' in need of repair, that I can get cheap?

Ebaymotors is also a good one. I found 2-3 of my last newish car purchases on Ebay. Check out the classifieds at VWVortex. I believe there is also a TDI specific forum somewhere out there as well.

It is also worth calling a few VW dealers to see what they have on the lot and to put your name in the system if they take one in. Back when I was looking for used Elements I gave a few dealers my info and what I was looking for...they actually found a few for me a couple weeks later (although I didn't buy one).

 

Sounds good. I called up/emailed a few dealerships to be put on a list to be notified if anything becomes available.
