Need help finding main bearings for vw type 4 block
I'm trying to locate the impossible to find type 4 vw bearings. Need to be .10 over, I've looked all over the net and tried several swap meets and haven't had any success, does anyone know something I don't?

The company that was making them quit making them. This has caused the shops that did have them in stock to either keep them for themselves, or jack the prices way up.
I don't really have an answer to if or when they will come back down to decent prices or if someone else will start making them again.

This is a recent issue, so many companies still show the bearings in stock or at regular pricing, but a phone call may prove different.

Yeah, I know. I just know that not a whole lot of people know that website. Also ive found that quite a few places have updated there online inventory.
