Everything.

The 2.slow is one of the least favored engines in the vw/audi community.

but its also one of the most reliable too.... mostly due to the fact that those that have them don't mod them because they know its wasted money.

never said the others do break down.... i just hinted at the fact the more mods you do the lower your reliability is.

this doesn't only apply to vdubs its pretty much general knowledge.

hahhaa yeah that works lol

man you got a bad maf or like dude said they pout it on backwards, lol

and turning on the key and priming the pump is doing nothing it will do that when you open the drivers door before you touch the key

id disconect the battery BOTH CABLES and touch them together for 15 sec
make sure you take both battery cables off before doing this

that will totally clear the memory in the computer

then turn the key on dont start it for 30 sec, then turn it off and start the car and see what happens but make sure the maf is in correct there is a arrow on the top of the maf itself that is suposto point towards the motor

The Maf has a small arrow on it pointing the direction of the airflow.

not going to warn him about the radio? when you disconnect the battery you'll probably have to put the code in the radio for it to work again. Code should be in the owners manual, I've heard it's also on a sticker in the spare tire well. If not you'll have to pull the radio and call a dealer with the numbers off it to get the code.
