Default need a shop referral

i have a set of rods and pistons i need installed... does anyone reccomend anyone specific? i dont have the tools, the time, or the know how to do such a project.



BTW i live in Holiday so the closer they are the better...

lol... then who would you trust to do this?

ive heard good things about 1552..... anyone here actually dealt with them personally?

I know a guy in Lakeland, don't know if you want to go that far though. He is good and cheap.

Yes 1552 great bunch of guys. Had some work done to the GTI before I bought the vehicle and their work was top notch

It's not a difficult process. Are the pistons already pressed to the rods?

Yes well it is pretty damn hard to do if you don't have a shop to pull the parts off at or the right tools to do the job to begin with. Hell if you are only going to this kinda of job once. It will cost you more in tools then it would to pay someone to do the work. So my recommendation is to have someone do the work who has the shop, the tools, and the knowledge.

the pistons and rods are still in the boxes never been opened...
