cool
but as far as what he is asking, the only dealers i know of are dubtunning, and reeves..
either one will be fine, i believe reeves does apr which i dont know anybody with so i have to comments for that.
and dubtunning does giac.
the only thing i dont like about giac is the surging...
other then that its a great program, and i believe it has the best gains..

Default Revo Installed

I am running the Revo install. The "chiped" ECU your talking about is probably just a software refash of your stock ECU. I know that Reeves Motorsports of Tampa, does the reflash for a good price. I have it installed on my 01 GTI and I could tell the difference leaving the parking lot. About hit a truck when my car jumped forward much faster then I expected it to do. I was cheesing all the way home. Oh i recommend you install an oil catch can on your EGR return line to your intake. You will get blow by oil and gunk in your MAS if not and I tell you what $60-$300 bucks for a new sensor sucks. I can give you a step by step and some pics if you like.

Good Luck,

REEVES = REVO only. I did a test trial on my A4 and it was very nice results since the CVT tranny I have makes this car a slug. Trying to talk the wife into a permanent flash but not high priority for her.

Fixx Tuning = APR only. Very satisfied on my GTI. Going stage 2 soon.

Dubb Tuning = GIAC. This software is adaptive and you do not get stages like the other 2 programs. Not fond of this type personally. A downpipe added to this software will create an Engine light that will not go away. The other companies will flash you to stage 2 for free when you add a DP and rids you of the light.
