Default want to buy this VW

hey guys i found a car that looks really good so far but im not sure about the mileage. its a 2004 VW Jetta GLI with 67k miles. is that reasonable? or should i look for somehting lower? also how expensive are parts and maintenance for VW's?

67k is not bad for a gli.
and parts arent cheap, but there not to bad as long as you dont get them from the dealership..

regular basic maintenance parts arent too bad, I.E. - spark plugs, coils, belts, brakes, etc. but modding them isnt very cheap at all. but like madness said, just don't go to the stealership.

yeah, at 70k your gonna have to do your timing belt/70k tune up.
so add that into the price of buying the car

Request to see the service records (i.e. oil changes, reg maintenance, verify no open recalls on the VIN, etc). A dealer service advisor should be able to pull the vin for you. A VW of that vintage with a poor/neglected service record is a bad thing.
