i own a paint shop and i must agree with the others, leave it black. unless you really have your heart set on another color and are willing to fork out the extra cash for a good color change (pulling off doors, trunk, hood, interior, rubbers, etc etc)
pearl whites are a gorgeous color. you can cheat a bit here and use a slightly different pearl overlay on your white for a new effect/color without having to redo the jambs

My car is considered Candy white and I wanted a black one. But like everyone else said. Your gonna have to bring up enough cash to do the entire car. Basically bringing your car to almost a shell. If you heart is set on the color do it. Fresh paint job is always nice. Just make sure you get it done right or don't do it at all.
