Ok the springs are in. Granted it took about 12 hours. Most of that time was spent waiting for people to show up with necessary tools which we found out later werent the right tools at all. Then we had to make two trips to wal-mart and home depot to find the right tool. Freakin metric system... Anyway I had no trouble doing the rear springs it took maybe a half hour. The fun started when I got to the front passenger side. After much swearing spitting and a small temper-tantrum I broke down and called Dave. A half hour later I had someone who actually knew what he was doing working on my car. Words can not express how greatful I am to Dave for his help and expertise.

The only real trouble occured when Kyle decided to take my car for a test drive while I was cleaning up the parking lot...He came back and reported creaking noises coming from the front which everyone agreed was just the sounds of settling springs. I took a drive and the creaking was getting worse. I also noticed the steering was a little kooky. I turned around and started heading back when the creaking got REALLY bad and I heard a delicate *ping!* I stopped and looked out to see a sliver wheel blot laying on the ground. My stupid ass forgot to torque down the bolts once the car was on the ground. I hit the hazards and ran back to the apartment for help. One of my bolts is all fugged up but Bugg loaned me a cool-ass bolt from a 1.8T. he guaranteed me 5HP.

Needless to say I drove it home REAL slow. This morning I took it into Reeves to check out the loose rotor on the front drivers side. They torqued something down and the rotor is now tight again. Took them about an hour.

Anyway I just want to say a great big thank you to everyone who came over last night to mock and jeer and call me bad names. I should have listened to you the first time. And special thanks to my man Dave. Youre a god.
