Its 3am and Im chillin at the parking lot whatever after a night of driving around like usual. So I go to start my car and guess what.. NOTHING HAPPENS! My battery isnt dead I dont think I have a kill switch that I hit accidentaly.. I have no clue what happened. When I turn the key with clutched pressed etc Nothing happens no struggle to start just plain nothing. Anyone got a clue? I locked it up and left it there till tomorrow. What a way to end a night eh =(

I dont know your knowledge on cars so please dont take offense if my idea;s sound to obvious. Have you checked you battery connections? Did one come loose? I mean check it GOOD! I had the same thing happen to me Lunchbox (Thanks) just had to make sure the wires to the battery where connected well. Even if they look like they are well connected I would loosen them up a little and turn the terminals around the posts just a little bit. Do any of your lights come on? Do you get a clicking sound? Any DETAILED information will help diagnose the problem. I help something I said here helped if not I am sure we can get it fixed

Its your battery. General rule is when you dont think its your battery its always your battery.

 

Thats what I would think thats why I asked him if he had any lights or not. I would check the connections first and then double check them before I would go buy a new battery. Good luck

Lights work I didnt notice any unusual lights on the dash when My key is in the Ignition. Just the normal ones. No clicking noise.. BUT I did notice something when I tried to start it *and didnt work* I poped the hood and heard a sizzle noise comming out Then stopped after about 5min Noticed this every time I tried to start it. I was driving my car KINDA hard last night. I raced my friend with the a6 and we hit about 120.. but that was about the hardest I have driven it in a while.. well a few weeks at least =) I checked battery connections nothing seemes wrong. Well right now my cars at the dealership waiting monday till they check it out. I got it under warrenty and they tow for free. So I guess its not SO bad at least I can get my exhaust fixed and get my oil change heh..

 

I feel so weird not having a car right now... Anyway im lookin into buying a new exhaust/intake and maybe a chip. What are some companies I should look into. My uncle has a gti he said try Remus for exhaust. Any tips would help.

 

Tt is a great investment.. its enexpensive and it sounds great to0...
ReMus is styling for the most part.. thet soudn great.. but the system is muffler and tip as i recall... and very expensive!!
