$250 to spend on mods...what do I do?!
Ok I found out all in one day that I get to keep my job AND I get a $250 success sharing check...which will obviously be thrown at the PimpRide. On saturday Im Jim Wilson is going to let me play with an Upsolute Chip for an hour to see if I like it. From what Ive read it really makes the 2.0 a fun car to drive. Thats $250. here are some other ideas Im torn between -
-H&R springs
-Paint my badgeless grill front and rear valences
-stereo crap
-1 month of car insurance
-256 Cam
-adjustable cam gear
-down payment on exhaust
-sway bar
Gimme some more ideas people.

The Upsolute chip is going to give you the best bang for the buck. The 256 cam is hardly noticeable. The cam gear doesnt give you any power it only moves where the power is on the rpm band. The springs would be nice too they would make your car look and handle better.
Go with the chip. Most other motor mods rely on having a better chip.
Get the springs or try and talk Jim down on the price for the chip and use the extra for some extra stero crap.

Id go for the springs Robb. You know that you dont even like racing anyways so youd like the springs better than the chip cam or cam gear. The exhaust is a good idea. Go with what I got ($320 out the door) and I disturb Kyle working everyday hehe. But you know that youd be just that more pimp if you were lowered AND rolling on 18s...lol
