How much is too much?
Smoking from a jetta TDI? Never really noticed till I test drove one home for the night.

I assume you mean from the exhaust? If the smoke is excessive, I would be worried someone put regular unleaded in the tank. That being said, under hard acceleration, I have seen quite a bit of smoke come from the exhaust of diesel powered vehicles.

Yes it was from the exhaust, and I did ask her to hammer it when we left. It's not a ton, and the vw dealership put the fuel in it so I would hope they got it right. Thanks
