Its not cheap to take a transmission out of a car and than reinstall it. 300 doesnt seem bad for a FWD car.

450 for the complete thing isnt bad at all. You should just get a bentley and try to attack your self. But i would just pay the 450.

actually they wanted almost 700 dollars for an OEM clutch and install through them. they said the clutch was 250 or somethin. I called the one in downtown clearwater. I can get an Saches OEM for 130...so i mean thats not a problem. Im just gonna do that and take the liability of the clutch, no warrenty on the clutch if i have a shop do it and i provide my own parts.

and yea i'd try it myself...but i dont have a garage...and i have just enough tools to do minor little things in the parking lot of my apartment complex...so doing it myself is a no go...

ive had the spec stage 1 in my car for a while... apparently the stage 1 is rated to handle right at about 300 ft pounts of torque and im over that amount and it still holds strong.... ill run it till it starts slipping then ill go to a stronger clutch.....

i also have the spec aluminum flywheel and the pair seem to work together quite well...
