heh well recently.. this past tuesday i had a new clutch installed and todayfriday my transmission is blown to pieces... im not sure exactly what went wrong but im damn sure its the imputshaft or main drive gear because it still rolls and u can shift the gears but when u go to move the car just stalls or if it dont stall it makes a metal grinding noise... gear lube leakin from the imputshaft seal....any ideas people? or any donations of transmissions are welcome

 

1. GET GAS CAN
2. POUR GAS OVER CAR.SATURATE PERFUSLY.
3.GRAB LIGHTER FROM POCKET
4.STAND BACK
5.LIGHT THAT POS
6.WATCH BURN AND ADMIRE THE AURA THAT EMITS
7.SHARE BEER WITH BUDDIES

yeah cophers is full of crap 4spds and jetta trannys i have a 85gti tranny you dont know the final drive on that do ya? well no my car isnt bone stock exaust and k/n 86gti big valve head and modified fuel stuff i think i have a mild cam but im not sure the thing revs to 7 grand no problem and still pulls kinda but thanks ...this totaly sucks because thisweekend i was gonna paint the car and fix the front end but damn im outta luck

thanks but i allready have a tranny from a 85 gti my buddy wade gave it to me so monday its gonna get installed ill have my car back by tuesday and hopefully runnin the same as when the tranny broke ...if anyone wants to take a peek inside my old tranny i shall be dismantleing this beast.... gonna be a learning experience thanks patrick
