I need HELP VR6 guys!

OK so I found out the sluggishness of my VR6 was due to my wires so now i go to order some Neuspeeds and two choices appear: w/distributor and w/o distibutor. Which is mine? Both say gen. 3 VR6. Does my 98 VR6 have a distributor or not? Sorry this may be a painfully obvious question but im not great on VW tech and I need to order these soon! Any help would be appreciated. Thanks...

Your 98 does not have a distributor. The early cars did though (ie. ~94).
