Default 00 cabrio help

My step dad has a 00 cabrio and he dediced that he wanted to change his dizzy cap and rotor. Well now the car wont start. Come to find out he put the cap on backwards. Can any 1 tell me what spark plug wire goes on what plug on the dizzy so I can make sure that he put them on right. I think he got them all switched up.

Thanks that got the car started but now its not idleing right. and when I try to give it gas it dies right away. Any idea as to what I should check as to why it dies right when I give it gas? Also I was gonna pull the spark plugs to look at them but theres like a metal casing around them, how in the heck do I get that off or what it is?

That metal casing is just part of the spark plug dont take it off. When you hit the gas is it miss firing and boggin out? What kind of noises is it making when it dies? Did you get OEM parts? I would also use a spark plug wire reomval tool to take them off. You might have damaged the wires. Did he replace the plugs? If so what kind of plugs?

Its just idleing rough not like a miss fire. and when I hit the gas its just dies no sounds or nothing. He didnt replace the plugs cause he didnt know how to take them out. I guess ill go up to autozone and get the tool and some new plugs for the car, and try that.

Pulled the plug wires and plugs out last night. The plugs that were in it were black as hell, and come to find out 2 of the plug wires were ripped and thats what was causeing it to not run right. Put some new plugs and wires in and its running pretty good again.

Thanks for your help
