Default Turbo Manifold Question...

Has anyone bought a manifold off Ebay? I found a great deal on a cast iron manifold that will fit a T3/T4 which is what i'm looking for. But i know a lot of horror stories about Ebay products but that was mainly turbos... This is just the manifold. Any one wanna give me some incite on this? Does it look like a good deal or a scam?

Thanks!

I don't think anything is wrong with the cast mani's just the aluminum ones. I know they crack pretty quick.

It is just an ATP clone manifold. The fit will probably be terrible (like most of ATP's products) and be a bitch to install. Since the true manufacturer is unknown, the quality is unknown, and I would be willing to bet it will crack eventually.

the guy hmmracing has a mani like that, its a apr clone . the fit was a lil weired but .meaning you have to losse all the nuts and move the mani up or down to get the other ones on ,kinda odd.but all in all its doing just fine no cracks no leaks . so far so good but the guy above me got it right you do get what you pay for but so far so good just my .2 cent

Most parts (intakes, intercoolers, piping, etc.) on Ebay aren't really that bad. The ones that are required to handle high stress are the culprits. Turbo's with the coldside glued on... BOV's with plastic diaphragms... manifolds cast molded without proper cooling... All built in a rush to get out the door.
