Alright guys
Which SC kit do you think is the best? The Neuspeed or the Z-Eng. kit? After seeing the Dyno sheet on Vortex Im thinking that they posted the stock sheet. If Im reading it right it says that the Neuspeed SC only produces 109Hp? Im producing 105Hp at the wheels right now with only a chip intake and exhaust. Why then would I spend $3000 for a supercharger that will only give me 3 more horsepower? I guess Im searching for an answer.

What is your budget and what is your hp goal? I know the Vortex charger has the ability to make a good amount of hp but I dont know what Neuspeed did to it....I believe they use the Vortex charger????

Have you thought about a motor swap? If you go with a 2.0 16v motor swap you look to have about 150hp with mild work. Mild Work= intake cam chip(motronic) and exhaust. Wrecked 2.0l Passats are becoming more common in junk yards.

Im not sure what the total power output is but Im guessing that itll be something near what the VR6 puts out stock. Lucky you...youre lighter so theres an advantage maybe youll want to look in to lightening the load even further. Just dont compromise your safety be removing the bumper supports!

Z-Eng is not going to be coming out with the kit for a very long time if at all. Honestly if a supercharger is what you are looking for the Neuspeed is a really nice kit. They just have to finish up some software issues. A turbo kit would be nice but no one has software for the OBD1 2.0L to make it run right. Everyone is pretty much having software issues. Wait around for a while and let other people be guinea pigs.
