I assume you are trying to put together a back yard turbo. If not ebay had a Callaway stg 2 kit up. I havent looked for it recently....in the last day or two but I assume its still up.

The exh manifold is usually the hardest thing to find. Saab turbos are usually the turbos of choice for moderate HP. Use the plumbing from an Isuzu turbo...it can be modified pretty easily. You can run regular CIS with an oxy sensor but you may want to add some type of boost sensitive enrichment system. An easy way to go is the Audi 5000 turbo warm up regulator. That will add fuel as boost increases. The other way to go is with a g-60 wire harness. This is a lot more work since it involves a harness. Also the FF tranny is usually the best tranny for a turbo set-up. The close ratio boxes from 83-84 dont allow the turbo to spool up

sound like a plan ..........well today i went to cophers and i found a merkur that had just been dropped off.i looked under the hood and the turbo was still there i removed the intake flange and to my surprise its in perfect condition do shaft wobble or oil what so ever i proceded to pull it off and the thing is perfect its a garret t3 60 trim and its all mine for the whopin amount of 67 bucks including all the hozes and fittings i raped a bov off a sabb and some pipes from a mazda 323 turbo they look promising and there was a audi 5000 turbo fuelpressure regulator im not sure if its the right one its from a 88 5cyl but i grabbed it so now all i need to find is some 2 inch mandrel bent pipe and a intercooler of a conquest and of course a manifold ...and i got a perfect rocco hood all this stuff for under 140 bucks who0 ho0 ow i just need someone to help me put it all together
