soo my girl has an 03 golf gti, engine is throwing a code so i took it to autozone so they could put the scanner on it, it came up as the secondary air intake system is too high??? i know jackkk about vw's, and to the best of my knowlage its the little vacuum shit that controls the boost?? now i know if its that then i needa fix it asap, but ya some input from people who know what they r talking about with these german things would be nice, thanks

The SAI is for emissions. What do you mean to high? Was it just the voltage? Do you have the exact error code?

dunno whats high, thats just what the scanner said, the code was p0411

P0411: Secondary Air Injection Incorrect Upstream Flow Detected

Bently sais check this:
Check secondary air pump motor
Check Combi Valve
Check secondary air inlet valve
Check hoses and connecting pipes to/between components

so the check engine light just went off by itself but its still sluggish as shit taking off, by the way the ecu is chipped too
