so the chain reaction of problems ive been having with my GTI not starting when its hot and the air not working anymore, and consistently burning up coil packs every month. All seems to be from a bad control untit(ECU). My mechanic contacted APR and is shipping the unit to them. If its something they did its a free fix, otherwise ill be buying a new ECU. Im hoping i dont need to buy a new ECU.



i guess this is part of the reason everyone says not to buy a pre-modified car.

 

There pretty cheap on ebay but thats taking another chance.

 

ehh dont want to go that route. Now im just waiting on APR to see what they say.
